Before you choose
A few useful details.
Simple files. Clear expectations.
What do I receive after purchase?+
A color-only PDF and the link to the matching editable Figma swatch file for each edition purchased. The Starter Bundle includes three editions, with three PDFs and three Figma swatch files. Delivery is through Gumroad.
Can I use the colors for client work?+
Yes. You may use the colors in personal, commercial, and client design projects. The supplied PDFs, swatch files, and collections may not be resold, redistributed, or repackaged as a competing resource. Each edition includes its usage guide and license.
Are the dessert images included?+
No. The purchased editions are color-only resources. The ingredient textures, inspiration images, demonstration layouts, and full internal DCS library are not part of the download.
Do I need Figma?+
The PDFs can be used on their own. A Figma account is needed to duplicate and edit the swatch files. You can use the supplied color values in other design applications.
How are the colors created?+
DCS uses AI-generated ingredient imagery as visual inspiration, then curates representative digital colors and relationships. They are not verified matches to real ingredients, photographs, or printed output. Screen and print results can vary. The resource provides color inspiration, not recipes or food-coloring formulas.
How do the focused editions overlap?+
Ingredient studies, pairings, color collections, and curated combinations are different views of the same source archive. Some colors appear in more than one edition. 14 Pistachio + chocolate colors includes the seven colors in 7 Pistachio greens. Choose the selection or relationship you need rather than buying for a total count of unique colors.
